WooliiPorter is a package forwarding and consolidation service for shoppers in Mexico who want a casillero (forwarding address) in China for Taobao, 1688, JD and other Chinese marketplace orders. You get a free China warehouse address; you pre-alert each seller parcel, we photograph it on arrival and store it free with no time limit, and when you choose which arrived parcels to ship together we consolidate them, quote international shipping from the packed box and forward the shipment to Mexico.

What shoppers in Mexico call this service

In English this service is called package forwarding, package consolidation or a China shipping agent. Shoppers in Mexico also search for it in their own language with the terms listed here; WooliiPorter's account and support run in English and Chinese.

  • casillero en China — A “locker” in China: the Latin American name for a forwarding address abroad.
  • reenvío de paquetes desde China — Parcel forwarding from China.
  • consolidación de paquetes — Parcel consolidation.

What package forwarding is, and how it differs from a shopping agent

How it works

1

Buy from the seller yourself

Place your order directly with Taobao, 1688, JD, WeChat sellers, or other Chinese stores and pay the seller yourself — this forwarding workflow does not buy goods for you. (Personal accounts can use the separate WooliiPorter buying service at /services/daigou if they want the store order placed for them.)

2

Use your China warehouse address

Enter your WooliiPorter warehouse recipient, phone, address, and postal code as the domestic delivery address in China. Copy the details exactly from your dashboard.

3

Pre-alert parcels and follow their arrival

After sellers ship, use Pre-alert parcels to add each China domestic tracking number with the product name, quantity and value. Arrived parcels are photographed and wait in My Parcels, with free storage and no time limit.

4

Choose parcels, consolidate and ship

Tick the arrived parcels you want to ship together and submit one shipment. The warehouse packs them and quotes the packed box; nothing is charged before that. Pay for dispatch to Mexico. Mexican deliveries need the street, exterior and interior number, colonia, municipality or alcaldía, state and five-digit código postal, plus a reachable phone number. The recipient's RFC or CURP is required before dispatch.

Current route data

Check routes available to Mexico

These records come from the WooliiPorter shipping table. Final eligibility and price depend on the item, measured parcel, and destination details.

What should I prepare for my first shipment to Mexico?

The seller has not shipped yet

Create and verify your account, then copy the assigned China warehouse address from your dashboard. Pre-alert each parcel once the seller provides its domestic tracking number. A store order number is different; do not invent a tracking number to submit a pre-alert.

You have a domestic tracking number

Confirm that the seller is sending to your assigned China address. Enter each domestic parcel and its actual contents, and prepare the overseas recipient address. Sellers may split one purchase into several parcels.

You need help buying

Forwarding pre-alerts are for purchases you make yourself. If you need someone to place and pay for the store order, check the separate buying service and its quote first.

Check personal buying support

Which costs should I check beyond international freight?

Check the goods price, seller-to-warehouse shipping, requested warehouse services, international freight, and any import tax, duty or carrier clearance fee. You normally pay the seller for the goods and domestic delivery. Review the actual order quote for warehouse services and international shipping; a calculator estimate alone is not the complete landed cost.

For example, if two sellers each send one item, pre-alert the domestic parcels separately. After they arrive, choose whether to ship them together; compare one consolidated carton with separate shipments using the final dimensions and the greater of actual and volumetric weight. Adding the weights from the domestic labels does not establish the international chargeable weight.

Why buyers in Mexico use a China warehouse

Many Chinese sellers only support domestic delivery inside China. A forwarding warehouse gives you a usable China address, then turns domestic seller parcels into one international shipment to Mexico. Common uses include fashion and footwear, phone and computer accessories, anime and collectible merchandise, hobby supplies and small home goods.

Shipping and packing tips for Mexico

For Mexico, consolidate compatible parcels into one shipment rather than splitting a purchase across several parcels. Keep each product's description and value consistent with the seller's records.

Customs and declaration basics

Mexico's National Customs Agency (ANAM) clears small courier imports through a simplified procedure run by registered courier companies, with a global tax rate applied to the customs value. Splitting one purchase into several parcels to avoid charges is not permitted. WooliiPorter can help organize parcel information for forwarding, but you are responsible for ensuring goods are legal to export from China and import into Mexico.

RFC or CURP is required for the recipient

WooliiPorter asks for the recipient's RFC (13 characters: 4 letters, 6 digits, 3 alphanumeric) or CURP (18 characters) for Mexican deliveries, because Mexican customs verifies recipient tax identifiers and a missing or malformed number can cause the parcel to be returned. Use the recipient's own identifier, not the buyer's if they differ.

Courier imports use a simplified, value-limited procedure

ANAM describes a simplified procedure in which registered courier companies clear small imports with a global tax rate applied to the customs value, subject to a value limit per recipient and to tariff-line exclusions. Some goods cannot use the procedure at all. Check the current ANAM rules for the value and product in the parcel rather than relying on older forum figures.

How consolidation can reduce cost

Shipping parcels one by one is often expensive. Combining packages into one shipment and removing unnecessary packaging can reduce volumetric weight and lower the final chargeable weight. This matters most for light but bulky goods such as shoes, plush toys, storage boxes, home goods, and seller cartons with excess filler.

What WooliiPorter does and does not do

In this forwarding workflow, you place and pay for the store order. WooliiPorter receives, records, consolidates, repacks and forwards your parcels. If you need help purchasing supported products, use the separate personal buying service and confirm its quote and platform eligibility first.

Before shipping to Mexico

  • Provide the full street, exterior and interior number, colonia, municipality, state, código postal and a reachable phone number.
  • Enter the recipient's RFC (13 characters) or CURP (18 characters) exactly; a missing or malformed number can cause the parcel to be returned.
  • Keep seller order and payment evidence and declare each product by its actual name, quantity and value.

Frequently asked questions

Is WooliiPorter a package forwarding service or a shopping agent?

WooliiPorter's core service is package forwarding and consolidation: you buy from the seller yourself, ship to your WooliiPorter China warehouse address, and WooliiPorter receives, consolidates and ships the parcels to Mexico. People also call this a China shipping agent, a forwarding address or a consolidation service. Buying on your behalf (a shopping agent or daigou) is a separate, optional WooliiPorter service.

Can WooliiPorter buy items from Chinese online stores for me?

This page describes self-purchase forwarding: you pay the seller, and WooliiPorter handles the parcels. A separate personal buying service is available for eligible products at /services/daigou. Check the supported platform, item quote and service fees there before paying.

Can I combine multiple parcels before shipping to Mexico?

Yes. Pre-alert each parcel; arrived parcels wait in My Parcels with free storage and no time limit, and you tick the ones to ship together to Mexico. The warehouse packs them and quotes the packed box.

How is shipping cost calculated?

Personal shipments are priced on the greater of the packed box's actual and volumetric weight, rounded up in 100 g steps, on the air-parcel service. Use the shipping calculator to estimate from currently enabled products and destinations; the final quote follows warehouse packing and measurement.

Do I need an RFC or CURP to receive a parcel from China in Mexico?

Yes. WooliiPorter requires the recipient's RFC or CURP before dispatching to Mexico, because Mexican customs verifies recipient tax identifiers and a missing or malformed number can cause the parcel to be returned. Enter the identifier exactly as issued.

Are there item restrictions for Mexico?

Yes. Restrictions depend on item type and route. Mexico's National Customs Agency (ANAM) clears small courier imports through a simplified procedure run by registered courier companies, with a global tax rate applied to the customs value. Splitting one purchase into several parcels to avoid charges is not permitted. If your parcel includes batteries, liquids, powders, food, cosmetics, branded goods, or fragile items, create a support ticket before shipping.

Where do I get the China warehouse address?

Sign up for WooliiPorter and open your dashboard. Your warehouse address is shown there and should be copied exactly into the seller checkout page.
