WooliiPorter is a parcel-forwarding and consolidation service. You pay Chinese sellers directly; we handle receiving, inspection, consolidation, repackaging, shipping, and tracking.

What shoppers in the Philippines call this service

In English this service is called parcel forwarding, package consolidation or a China shipping agent. Shoppers in the Philippines also search for it in their own language with the terms listed here; WooliiPorter's account and support run in English and Chinese.

  • 集运 — Consolidated shipping: parcels from several sellers are collected and shipped abroad together. The most common term among overseas Chinese shoppers.
  • 转运 — Forwarding: a parcel is received in China and sent on to an overseas address.
  • 淘宝集运 — Taobao consolidated shipping, the everyday name for shipping Taobao orders abroad together.
  • 代购 — Buying on someone’s behalf (daigou), a separate service from forwarding.

What package forwarding is, and how it differs from a shopping agent

How it works

1

Buy from the seller yourself

Place your order directly with Taobao, 1688, JD, WeChat sellers, or other Chinese stores and pay the seller yourself — this forwarding workflow does not buy goods for you. (Personal accounts can use the separate WooliiPorter buying service at /services/daigou if they want the store order placed for them.)

2

Use your China warehouse address

Enter your WooliiPorter warehouse recipient, phone, address, and postal code as the domestic delivery address in China. Copy the details exactly from your dashboard.

3

Pre-alert parcels and follow their arrival

After sellers ship, use Pre-alert parcels to add each China domestic tracking number with the product name, quantity and value. Arrived parcels are photographed and wait in My Parcels, with free storage and no time limit.

4

Choose parcels, consolidate and ship

Tick the arrived parcels you want to ship together and submit one shipment. The warehouse packs them and quotes the packed box; nothing is charged before that. Pay for dispatch to the Philippines. Philippine deliveries need the house or unit number, street, barangay, city or municipality, province, the four-digit ZIP code and a reachable mobile number. Current personal routes carry regular and sensitive items; battery-containing goods need a separate check.

Current route data

Check routes available to the Philippines

These records come from the WooliiPorter shipping table. Final eligibility and price depend on the item, measured parcel, and destination details.

Transit values are estimates from the route table, not delivery promises. A contents match is not customs approval. Eligibility, charging conditions and final cost depend on the actual goods, destination and packed quote.

Availability is not customs approval. Restricted items still require route and destination review.

What should I prepare for my first shipment to the Philippines?

The seller has not shipped yet

Create and verify your account, then copy the assigned China warehouse address from your dashboard. Pre-alert each parcel once the seller provides its domestic tracking number. A store order number is different; do not invent a tracking number to submit a pre-alert.

You have a domestic tracking number

Confirm that the seller is sending to your assigned China address. Enter each domestic parcel and its actual contents, and prepare the overseas recipient address. Sellers may split one purchase into several parcels.

You need help buying

Forwarding pre-alerts are for purchases you make yourself. If you need someone to place and pay for the store order, check the separate buying service and its quote first.

Check personal buying support

Which costs should I check beyond international freight?

Check the goods price, seller-to-warehouse shipping, requested warehouse services, international freight, and any import tax, duty or carrier clearance fee. You normally pay the seller for the goods and domestic delivery. Review the actual order quote for warehouse services and international shipping; a calculator estimate alone is not the complete landed cost.

For example, if two sellers each send one item, pre-alert the domestic parcels separately. After they arrive, choose whether to ship them together; compare one consolidated carton with separate shipments using the final dimensions and the greater of actual and volumetric weight. Adding the weights from the domestic labels does not establish the international chargeable weight.

Why buyers in the Philippines use a China warehouse

Many Chinese sellers only support domestic delivery inside China. A forwarding warehouse gives you a usable China address, then turns domestic seller parcels into one international shipment to the Philippines. Common uses include fashion, phone accessories, home goods, hobby supplies and small household items.

Shipping and packing tips for the Philippines

For the Philippines, consolidating parcels saves international minimums, but a consolidated parcel's total value is what customs compares with the PHP 10,000 threshold. Plan consolidated shipments with that total in mind and never under-declare.

Customs and declaration basics

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) collects no duty or tax on imported goods with an FOB value of PHP 10,000 or less (the de minimis threshold). Above that, duties and VAT apply according to the goods, and customs may ask for proof of payment if the declared value looks too low. WooliiPorter can help organize parcel information for forwarding, but you are responsible for ensuring goods are legal to export from China and import into the Philippines.

PHP 10,000 de minimis threshold

The BOC collects no duty or tax on imported goods with an FOB or FCA value of PHP 10,000 or less. Above the threshold, duties and 12% VAT apply according to the goods, and gifts are not exempt above it. Unpaid parcels can be treated as abandoned, so settle any assessed duties promptly.

Declared value must be truthful

The BOC assesses duties on the declared value and examiners may request proof of payment when it looks obviously low. Consolidation does not change the obligation to declare every item at its real value.

How consolidation can reduce cost

Shipping parcels one by one is often expensive. Combining packages into one shipment and removing unnecessary packaging can reduce volumetric weight and lower the final chargeable weight. This matters most for light but bulky goods such as shoes, plush toys, storage boxes, home goods, and seller cartons with excess filler.

What WooliiPorter does and does not do

In this forwarding workflow, you place and pay for the store order. WooliiPorter receives, records, consolidates, repacks and forwards your parcels. If you need help purchasing supported products, use the separate personal buying service and confirm its quote and platform eligibility first.

Before shipping to the Philippines

  • Provide the house or unit number, street, barangay, city or municipality, province, ZIP code and a reachable mobile number.
  • Keep seller order and payment evidence; customs may request proof of payment for the declared value.
  • Check route availability before buying battery-containing goods; current personal routes list regular and sensitive items.

Frequently asked questions

Is WooliiPorter a parcel forwarding service or a shopping agent?

WooliiPorter's core service is parcel forwarding and consolidation: you buy from the seller yourself, ship to your WooliiPorter China warehouse address, and WooliiPorter receives, consolidates and ships the parcels to the Philippines. People also call this a China shipping agent, a forwarding address or a consolidation service. Buying on your behalf (a shopping agent or daigou) is a separate, optional WooliiPorter service.

Can WooliiPorter buy items from Chinese online stores for me?

This page describes self-purchase forwarding: you pay the seller, and WooliiPorter handles the parcels. A separate personal buying service is available for eligible products at /services/daigou. Check the supported platform, item quote and service fees there before paying.

Can I combine multiple parcels before shipping to the Philippines?

Yes. Pre-alert each parcel; arrived parcels wait in My Parcels with free storage and no time limit, and you tick the ones to ship together to the Philippines. The warehouse packs them and quotes the packed box.

How is shipping cost calculated?

Personal shipments are priced on the greater of the packed box's actual and volumetric weight, rounded up in 100 g steps, on the air-parcel service. Use the shipping calculator to estimate from currently enabled products and destinations; the final quote follows warehouse packing and measurement.

Is a parcel from China to the Philippines duty-free under PHP 10,000?

Yes, if its FOB value is PHP 10,000 or less: the Bureau of Customs collects no duty or tax under the de minimis threshold. Above it, duties and VAT apply according to the goods, and customs may request proof of the declared value.

Are there item restrictions for the Philippines?

Yes. Restrictions depend on item type and route. The Bureau of Customs (BOC) collects no duty or tax on imported goods with an FOB value of PHP 10,000 or less (the de minimis threshold). Above that, duties and VAT apply according to the goods, and customs may ask for proof of payment if the declared value looks too low. If your parcel includes batteries, liquids, powders, food, cosmetics, branded goods, or fragile items, create a support ticket before shipping.

Where do I get the China warehouse address?

Sign up for WooliiPorter and open your dashboard. Your warehouse address is shown there and should be copied exactly into the seller checkout page.
