In the USA and Canada this service is usually called package forwarding; in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, parcel forwarding. Shoppers on Reddit and in haul videos often say “shipping agent” or “Taobao agent”, and Chinese-speaking shoppers abroad call it 集运 or 转运. All of them mean a China address that receives your orders, consolidates them and ships them to you. A shopping agent goes one step further and buys the goods for you — at WooliiPorter that is the separate Buy for Me service, with no service fee.

Sign up, verify your email and copy the complete China receiving address from your dashboard. Give each seller the recipient name, phone number and address exactly as shown.
- 02Pre-alert your seller parcels
After each seller ships, open Pre-alert parcels and add the China domestic tracking number, with each product’s name, quantity and value. Use the courier number from the seller, not the store order number.
- 03Parcels arrive and wait in My Parcels
The warehouse photographs every parcel on arrival and keeps it for you in My Parcels. Wait for slower sellers, then tick the arrived parcels you want to ship together and submit one shipment. Add free unpack-and-photograph if you want photos of each item, plus fragile handling, protective packaging or insurance.

Personal forwarding rates are published because they are the rates a direct customer pays, read from the live route table. A personal shipment is priced on the greater of the packed box’s actual weight and its volumetric weight, rounded up to the route’s weight step (100 g on most routes), so enter outer dimensions as well as weight. The selected route also has size and item restrictions. Personal shipments currently use the air-parcel service. The calculator shows currently enabled products and destinations; availability can change. Your final quote is produced only after the warehouse packs the parcels you submitted; review it before paying for dispatch.
Restrictions
Check before you buy, not after it arrives
Destination policy is applied before dispatch: weight and dimension caps per destination, shape rejection where a destination requires it, declared-value floors and ceilings, PO-box rejection, and recipient tax-identity requirements for destinations such as Mexico, Brazil and South Korea. Items resolve to exactly one of prohibited, restricted, or documentation-required.
Batteries, liquids, powders and cosmetics run on their own routes.

Ask about a parcel and the dashboard assistant reads what the warehouse scanned, what the rate engine quoted and what the timeline confirmed — your records, not a script. It never invents an address, a tracking event or a price. When the fact is not on your record, it says so and opens a ticket for a person.

What is China package forwarding?
China package forwarding (also called parcel forwarding, package consolidation or 集运) is a service that gives you a receiving address inside China. You buy from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, JD, Pinduoduo, Weidian or any other Chinese seller that only ships domestically, the forwarder receives the parcels at its warehouse, combines them into fewer boxes and ships them to your country. WooliiPorter is a China package forwarder for individual shoppers.
Is WooliiPorter a shopping agent or a package forwarder?
Both services exist, as separate workflows. Package forwarding is the core service: you buy and pay the seller yourself and WooliiPorter receives, consolidates and ships your parcels. A shopping agent (buying agent, daigou) places and pays for the store order for you; WooliiPorter offers that separately as Buy for Me, with no service fee and a confirmed quote before payment. Communities often call either one a "Taobao agent" or "shipping agent".
Where is the WooliiPorter warehouse?
Personal forwarding parcels are received at the WooliiPorter warehouse in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, China. The exact recipient, phone number, address and your customer code appear in your dashboard after email verification. One receiving address covers ordinary goods, battery-powered items and pure batteries.
Which countries can WooliiPorter ship to?
The public route table currently lists 49 destination countries, including the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, most EU countries, Switzerland, Norway, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Mexico. Availability depends on destination and cargo type and can change; the route finder shows the current records.
How long does shipping from China take?
Each route publishes its own delivery estimate. Across the current public air routes the estimates range from 4 to 15 days after dispatch from the warehouse, depending on destination and cargo type. Estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates, and the time your parcels take to reach the warehouse from Chinese sellers comes first.
Can I ship batteries, cosmetics or liquids?
Often, on the right route. Personal forwarding separates regular items, liquid or battery-included items, sensitive items and pure batteries, and each destination lists which of those cargo types it accepts. The warehouse confirms the cargo type at receipt. Prohibited goods cannot be sent at all, and restricted or uncertain items need a support review before you buy.
How do I get a China warehouse address?
Sign up for a WooliiPorter personal account and complete email verification; your China receiving address appears in your dashboard. Use it as the delivery address when you buy from Taobao, Weidian, 1688, JD or any other Chinese seller. What does the unpack-and-photograph option include?
Every parcel is photographed on arrival. Unpack-and-photograph is a free option you choose when you submit a shipment: the warehouse opens the parcels and photographs each item, and the photos appear in your shipment details. It is not a detailed check of colours, sizes, models or product quality, and packing does not wait for you to approve the photos.
Can I choose sea freight in a personal order?
Personal shipments currently use the air-parcel service. The shipping calculator shows products and destinations currently enabled by WooliiPorter; a product in the calculator is not necessarily selectable when you submit a personal shipment. If you need sea freight, ask support to confirm current availability. Upgrading to a merchant account does not by itself make a route available.
How much does WooliiPorter storage cost?
Personal storage is free with no time limit. Arrived parcels wait in My Parcels until you choose to ship them, and receiving, scanning, photographing, weighing and measuring each incoming parcel is free as well. You pay only for the international shipment and any optional services you add.
