Fulfilling Shopify orders from China without surrendering your supplier relationships works through Shopify’s fulfillment-service model: orders assigned to the Woolii location become fulfillment orders, each line is routed against live China warehouse inventory, unstocked lines wait for your supplier’s real parcel, and tracking returns to Shopify after actual warehouse dispatch. You keep buying from your own suppliers; the operational chain in the middle — receiving, evidence, packing, measured quoting, dispatch — is operated for you.

The six steps
- 1Connect the storeInstall the app (Shopify-managed installation with session tokens) and link it to your Woolii merchant account. Connection imports no historical orders.
- 2Assign fulfillment to the Woolii locationProducts fulfilled from China point their inventory location at Woolii, so their orders arrive as assigned fulfillment orders — the standard Shopify mechanism, not a webhook hack.
- 3Link SKUs, incrementallyStore SKUs link to warehouse SKUs by exact match or manual mapping; anything unlinked simply routes as supplier forwarding. Mapping is incremental, not a migration.
- 4Orders route per lineStocked lines reserve inventory and dispatch from the warehouse; unstocked lines wait for the supplier parcel; mixed orders pause for your recorded decision.
- 5Suppliers ship to your China addressYour supplier sends the parcel to your WooliiPorter warehouse address with the domestic tracking number recorded; intake is scanned, photographed and measured.
- 6Tracking returns to ShopifyAfter real dispatch, tracking is pushed back to the fulfillment order, and China-leg plus carrier events merge into one timeline.
Common questions
Is this a dropshipping app?
No. Dropshipping apps source and purchase products for you. Here you buy from your own suppliers; the app connects Shopify’s fulfillment orders to an operated China leg on goods you own.
Is the app on the Shopify App Store?
The separate Shopify app remains in approved development-store validation and is not generally available.
Does it read my whole store?
The app requests the minimum scopes the workflow needs: assigned fulfillment orders, fulfillment write, location read and product read for SKU linking. Customer delivery data is processed only for fulfillment.
What about WooCommerce?
The same backend serves a WooCommerce plugin listed on WordPress.org. Both channels land in the same merchant-scoped record, so a store migration does not change the fulfillment layer.
